Keep Warm Look Hot

Fashion tips for winters 



Its winter time,and we are faced by the usual problem like every year how to remain warm yet look smoking hot.So,for an evening out wearing a dull dreary sweater to save yourself from the chill is so passe,and wearing a short dress with temperatures dipping below 10 you may come off as a wannabe,its not necessary to show too much skin in order to look hot nor do you need to be all covered up to save yourself from the chill.




So,the question is how to keep warm yet look hot?The answer is right amount of skin show and the right attire.My solution to the problem was high waisted denims,a short tee,a black jacket and boots along with smokey eyes nude lips and the right accessories,like i said in my previous look post as well the right make up can make your day






.High waisted denims are available at any store these days and so are short tees,simply pair it up with a jacket and boots to get this look :).

WATCH YOUR LBD POP

Heylo fashionistas,this is my first post on fashion.
So lets talk about dressing up,dressing up is not just about wearing the right dress but also accessorizing it well along with the right make up and the right colours,breaking the monotony of a dress.Believe you me the right make up,right hair,right shoes and right accessories can make the dullest of dresses pop.

Now we have all been going ga ga over the neon trend,but of course neon can be a bit OTT at times,the idea is to wear neon in a way that it looks classy not trashy.So here i am wearing a standard LBD teamed up with a neon pink pearl necklace,silver pumps and a clutch to match.The shade of the lipstick is same as that of the  necklace along with smoky eyes.




And i think you will all agree that I have managed to do justice to this standard LBD by using the right accessorize and make up.And the reason I am wearing silver pumps and using a silver clutch instead of neon pink is in order to break the pink and black monotony.


Bottom line is that accessorize well and watch your LBD pop.

300 workout

Ok,so most of us have seen the movie 300,the actors in this movie are said to have followed a workout routine called 300.Now i know the men in the movie are all buffed up and most women are not really too keen on being buffed up but if you follow the same routine with lighter weights you can get a toned body without bulking up as well as you can loose weight,and for the men reading this post you can follow this routine with heavier weights.Basically 300 is an intense complete body workout i have followed this routine for 2weeks where in 3days in the week cardio and 3days this particular workout.Try it for yourself

DAY 1
Cardio 1 hour,including running,cross trainer,skipping,cycling

DAY 2
300 WORKOUT

25 Pull ups
50 Dead-lifts
50 Push ups
50 24inch Box jumps
50 Floor Wipers
50 clean and press
25 Pull ups

Please note each exercise is 1 set of 50 repetitions except for the pull ups,you are supposed to do the 50 repitions at once if you cannot manage that take a 10 second break in between the repetitions.I do the push ups with knee support because i cant manage to do 50 push up in a go otherwise,hell i cant even manage 20 push ups in a row without knee support lol. One more thing I do 30 second sprints between each set to make the workout more intense,this is completely optional.Do not follow this routine more than 3-4 times a week.

15 Basic rules to fitness

I have so much to share and so much to write about that I really don't know where and what topic to start with,hence I thought lets start with fitness specially with the wedding season just around the corner am sure many of us are wanting to look just perfect for the D-Day and as important as it is to look gorgeous I feel its equally important to feel gorgeous.

Here are 15 basic rules to fitness:-
1.There is absolutely no short cut to a long term weight loss 
2.Fad diets work only temporarily,once you quit the diet the weight is sure to come back 
3.Only following a healthy diet will take a long time for you to reach your ideal weight,plus it hardly works because at one point of time you get sick of dieting and tend to binge
.
4.Only working out without following a healthy diet wont result in weight loss either,it has to be 50%  diet control and 50% exercise 
5.Be patient,as weight loss does not happen over night.You can easily loose 4-5kgs a month with a healthy diet and a good workout 5 days a week depending on your metabolic rate. 
6.Avoid carbohydrates at night it works miracles. 
7.Surprise your body frequently by changing your workout every 15days. 
8.Identify the foods that are not friendly with your body,for eg you may notice after eating  a certain fruit or vegetable or meat etc you start to bloat or get acidity,try and avoid them.
9.My first hand experience running is the best way to get a flat stomach. 
10.Find yourself a motivation to loose weight,for me it was a dress i wanted to fit into. 
11.Always have water before a meal never during a meal. 
12.Exercise also increases your metabolic rate which accelerates weight loss. 
13.Loosing inches is more important than loosing weight. 
14. Generally fad diets/crash diets result in water loss and not fat loss. 
15.Make exercise and a healthy diet a lifestyle,do not workout or eat healthy with the        intention to quit once you have lost weight,else after a month or two it will come back.
Above i have shared the basic rules of fitness,in my coming posts i will share easy to follow diet plans as well as workouts to help you achieve your goals along with some before and after photographs of myself.I am no certified dietitian nor a fitness trainer but i have been working out for 8years now and my diet plan and fitness regimes have worked wonders for me,my posts are based on my experience.Hope this helped,if you have any questions feel free to ask me.

About Moi



A shout out to all the fashionistas and fellow bloggers,well this is my first post and also my first blog so let me begin by introducing myself as well as my blog.I am Aakriti Narula from Delhi a shopping freak,a fitness addict and am so totally obsessed with make up and hair always up to date with the latest looks and fashion.As far as fitness is concerned my day is not complete without hitting the gym and it wasn't like this always, 8years ago i weighed a whopping 95kilos having lost 40kilos on my own with sheer determination,workout and healthy balanced diets i didnt realise that i turned into a fitness freak.Modelling is one of my passions and i am an actor by profession by debut film "Tere Pyaar Mein Paapad"is due for release.My inspiration for blogging has come to me from my mom Alka Narula who is the author of "Deep In My Heart".
Thats all about me now lets turn the attention to what you will be finding on my blog.I will be posting on the latest fashion along with pictures of how to get the look ie how to look like a million bucks without actually having to spend much,just the right shops and right clothes,will also be sharing make up tips from basics to easy party make up that you can do sitting right in your powder room.And last but not the least i will be sharing workout routines,weight loss tips,diets and some diet recipes.
